To upgrade the load carrying capacity and seismic resistance of the existing Mac Arthur Bridge to avoid major damage in the event of a strong earthquake. Detailed engineering shall include structural and foundation investigation and the preparation of technical studies, plans and drawings, cost and quantity estimates, program of work, prequalification and bidding documents in accordance with Republic Act 9184 and other documents.
