Manila Cathedral

Project Description

The present Manila Cathedral rose phoenix-like from the desolate ruins of the old cathedral which was bombed mercilessly along with the rest of the Walled City during the battle of Liberation in 1945. Due to the religious and cultural importance of the cathedral and the increasing concern for the structural integrity of old structures, it is essential that a structural assessment be conducted. The project is Detailed Engineering Design for Retrofitting of Structural members, Pre-Construction and Construction Supervision.
