The proposed project is a series of intermittent road sections, along the route to the Bundok Peninsula, to serve as by-passes to divert the increasing traffic volume away from the urbanized and progressively developing parts of the towns along the route. The proposed new by-pass alignments have an aggregate total length estimated at approximately 10 km, consisting of three (3) separate at-grade road sections and a 30m bridge at the Agdangan project segment. This compares to the approximately 30 km existing main route along the three towns.
